1. Hydrocolloid Dressing is afunctional dressing.

2. It is  made of an absorbent layer of gel- hydrocolloid ( carboxymethylcellulose, chitosan, alginate, etc. )

3. There is a semi-permeable film or foam that promotes the rehydration and debridement of wounds. 

Feature: 

1.Excellent wound exudate absorption ability.

2.Keep the wound site moist and promote wound healing.

3.React with wound exudate to form a gel-like covering which protects the wound bed and relieve pains.

4.The Structure of semi-permeable membrane make the air and water exchanged between interior and external easily to promote wound healing.

5.Do not stimulate to the skin.

6.Anti-infection and reducing scar formation.
